Artist and teacher Daniel Degroen graduated from Julian Ashton's in Sydney and then from the Angel Academy in Florence with High Distinction. He now resides in Sydney, Australia where he teaches and paints in the European and realist traditions.

Daniel combines years of training not only in the arts but also in literature, social and psychological theories, history and culture to bring depth and meaning to the symbolism used in his still life paintings.
