Christina McLean, a versatile artist based on the Central Coast, seamlessly merges textiles and ceramics, blurring boundaries between functional ware and art. With a rich background in ceramics and fashion, she embarked on ceramic studies in 1988 and later founded Chowk Ceramics. After a decade, she channeled her passion for mark making into textiles, designing prints for sought-after Australian fashion brands from 2006. In her latest venture, TRADE the MARK, Christina returns to her roots as a maker, infusing her creations with a timeless quality and a contemporary flair.
